9. iOS-Specific Privacy Information

9.1 App Permissions

When you use Banana Cam on iOS, we request the following permissions:

• Camera: Required to take photos for AI transformation. You can deny this permission, but core functionality will be limited.
• Photo Library: Optional. Allows you to select existing photos. You can deny this and still use the camera.
• Notifications: Optional. Used to notify you when image generation is complete.

You can manage these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Banana Cam.

9.2 Apple In-App Purchases

9.3 Face Data Processing

Important Notice: Banana Cam analyzes facial features in photos you provide to generate AI transformations. This constitutes facial recognition technology. Face data is:

• Processed by Google's Gemini Flash 2.5 AI model
• Used to train and improve AI models (unless you opt out)
• Transmitted to servers outside your device
• Not used for identity verification or authentication
• Not shared with third parties for advertising purposes

9.4 Data Not Collected

We do NOT collect or track:

• Precise geolocation (GPS coordinates)
